A-Turf Titan on athletic field at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton
Multi-Sport Field at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton – Camp Pendleton, CA • Installed: 2012 • System: A-Turf Titan with ShockPad
A-Turf systems are eligible for LEED® credits.

A-Turf’s ShockPad and rubber infill are made from shredded and cleaned scrap-tire rubber (100% post-consumer waste). Additionally, overages may be packaged and shipped back to Ecore’s Redeux Reclamation Center in Lancaster, PA where it will be sorted, shredded, cleaned and ground for the next generation of recycled rubber flooring, underlayment and industrial products. View the LEED® PDF for more information.

Ecore is North America’s largest processor and user of recycled scrap-tire rubber, reusing more than 75 million pounds of material each year. That’s the equivalent to keeping more than 2,000 trailer loads of discarded tires out of America’s landfills or conserving more than one million barrels of oil.

Ecore actively encourages its customers to join the movement. Through its Redeux program, participating building professionals can recycle any Ecore product at the end of its useful life. The reclaimed material will be made into new flooring, underlayments and industrial products by Ecore, extending the life of each product it manufactures and keeping rubber waste out of the landfill.
