Out with the Old, In with the New for Corning, NY

The Corning, NY community recently had a major overhaul of its Memorial Stadium that has been around since 1948. This historic landmark is currently leased by Corning-Painted Post Area School District but it’s also used for multiple community-driven events, such as July 4th firework celebrations and various concerts for the town and visitors.

The project consisted of removing a 15-year-old field and installing a new track and a brand new A-Turf® Mono-RS Ultra Field. The field is now striped for football, soccer and lacrosse and is the primary game field for the Corning-Painted Post High School Hawks. This is certainly something that the Corning community will be able to put to good use for a long time, thanks to A-Turf!
